New Book Title Idea Generator for KDP Publishers

I’m pleased to announce that I’ve added a new tool to the Niche Laboratory website. The Book Niche Idea Generator can be used to find potentially lucrative niches in the online eBook publishing industry.

Basically you just add a keyword and it shows you a list of sub-topics that people want to read about in that niche.

Have you tried making money from writing eBooks yet? I’ve made a few bucks over the years from writing eBooks. In fact I re-started my making money online career back in 2010 when I write an eBook in Word, published it on ClickBank as a PDF and then started promoting it through HubPages and various other Web 2.0 properties.

However I completely overlooked Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and I’ve been a relatively late entrant into this scheme.

That changed in December 2019 when I published my first short fiction story through the scheme.

Since then I’ve published a total of 12 shorts and I’ve earnt around $60 a month from the scheme. It’s not big money by any means. However, it’s been the most lucrative make money online thing I’ve done since 2013.

Below is a chart of my KENP daily reads (on KDP you can enrol your titles in Kindle Unlimited and you get paid ~$0.004 every time somebody reads a page of one of your digital eBooks. Incidentally the peaks usually coincide with my releasing new titles.

As well as getting a bit of cash from these daily reads, I also get a cut of the $2.99 sales price of each eBook.

In 2020 I hope to expand my publishing empire by bundling books, expanding into paperbacks as well as writing more titles and growing my author’s reputation.
